Dr.Vidydhar Reddy Aileni is Professor & Dean at   department of management,   Osmania University. He also held the   position of chairman, board of studies   during the year 2004 and is a   member on board of studies for many other   universities. He has won   multiple academic laurels, citation and was awarded   gold medal by   Osmania University MBA Alumni Association for best research paper     published in 2003-04. During his long illustrious stint at Osmania   University,   he has been teaching strategic management, management   theory, organization   theory, organizational behavior, international   business and business research   methods. Besides these, he had been   teaching various courses in marketing such   as basic marketing,   marketing research, services marketing, product management,     advertising, sales promotion, consumer behavior and customer   relationship   management.
           
Dr. A.V.Reddy is particularly interested in research in     marketing, consumer behavior, services marketing, strategy,   organizational   behavior and technology management. He has guided more   than 20 students for the   award of PhD and M. Phil degrees. A large   number (40+) research articles are   credited to Dr.A.V.Reddy and he has   also written a book on Agricultural   Marketing and edited books on   marketing research, product research and supply   chain management. He   has been member of the editorial board for International   Academy of E-   Business (IAEB), USA, chief editor of Osmania Journal of   Management,   India and editorial member of ICFAIAN Journal of Services Marketing,     India.
Dr. A.V.Reddy designed course in MBA Technology Management in     Osmania University, which was first of its kind in Indian Universities.   This   Program is being offered in collaboration with Confederation of   Indian Industry   (CII) and Department of Science and Industrial   Research (DSIR), Govt. of   India.
Dr.A.V.Reddy provided consultancy to many government agencies   and   companies in corporate sector. He did a pilot of DFID, Govt. of   UK, to study the   working of municipalities of Gajuwaka and Qutbullapur   in Andhra Pradesh, and   suggested a model municipality to provide   transparent, accountable, performance   oriented and citizen friendly   administration. He consulted Globerna IT Pte.   Ltd., on “ the impact of   physi-psychological factors on employee turnover” in IT     organizations. Currently he is consultant to Bharat Sanchar Nigam   Limited (BSNL)   on Media Research. 
Dr.A.V.Reddy has participated in large number of   national   and international conferences to present his papers and has been     instrumental in organizing many workshops in research methods, supply   chain   management, business communication and product management.
Dr.A.V.Reddy   did his MBA (Marketing) from Osmania University and   his doctorate in marketing   from Kakatiya University, Warangal, AP,   India. He has also done faculty   development program (FDP) from Indian   Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.   Dr.A.V.Reddy is a member of   Association of Indian Management Schools and fellow   of Academy of   Marketing Science, USA.
